Send to friendSend to friendEighteen Bridges is a new player in the Canadian magazine landscape. We value the timeless narrative flair of The New Yorker, the journalistic rigour of Harpers, the literary excellence of Granta, and we hope to weave these elements together with a distinctive Canadian sensibility. Donations are an important aspect of our sustainable future; we hope to attract subscribers and advertising in the traditional manner, but to also create an audience of donating readers, those who feel the magazine and its writers are not just worth the price of a subscription but of even more significant financial support. Attached to the University of Alberta as we are, if a reader of our content, in any of its forms, decides he or she likes the product and wants to contribute to its long-term sustainability, they can simply make a donation to the magazine (of any amount!) and in return will receive a tax receipt for a charitable donation. This donation must be made to the Canadian Literature Centre, of which we are a part.

The University of Alberta is recognized as a charitable organization and will issue tax receipts for your donation for income tax purposes.
